Pygmy Corydoras is a tropical freshwater fish native to the inland waters of South America. It was discovered in the Madeira River basin in Brazil in 1966. This small fish can lay nearly 100 eggs at a time, with the female keeping 2 to 4 eggs in a sac formed by her ventral fins at a time. Later, the female will attach the eggs to the surface, taking about 3 days before they hatch.
